Motorola V400p Equipped with the generic clamshell design, the V400p is not a big deal different to every other clamshell GSM phone on the market at the moment. One extra feature that Motorola have added tot he V400p is the capabillity to use PTT technology. PTT allows someone to speak to another person over a walkie talkie based call.The V400p is a quad-band GSM handset 850/900/1800/1900 which means that you will be able to communicate pretty much anywhere.There is a built-in VGA digital camera, with built in 5mb memory so that all the pictures you take can be stored with ease.The V400p has a standard 176 x 220 pixel display but with 65,00 colours meaning that all your pictures that you take will be very clear quality.All of the standard features that you would expect from a modern day mobile phone are still included such as MMS, WAP, Java, MIDI,WAV and MP3 RingtonesSynchronisation with a PC is easy, just use the suppllied data cable to connect your V400p up.The V400p measures only 86 x 46 x 23 mm and weighs quite a heavy 125 grams.The Motorola V400p does not have a release date as yet.

Panasonic A500 The A500 is a funky new one button open clamshell phone, so now you can look cool when you open your mobile phone or are we just lazy? Handspring / PalmOne Treo 650 The Handspring Treo 650 is the update to last year's popular Treo 600 smartphone. The Treo 650 features vast improvements in almost every single area, with a much faster 312MHz processor, 23MB RAM, colourful 320 x 320 pixel resolution display (compared to 160x160 in the Treo 600), and a 0.3 megapixel digital camera. One of the major features lacking in the original Treo 600 was the inclusion of Bluetooth support, but Handspring have included this technology in their new awaited Treo 650 smartphone. Another feature lacking in the Treo 600 was the dedicated answer/hangup buttons and a removable battery. Many heavy users are used to having a spare battery so they can talk for long periods of time and just change the battery. Treo 650 users will be able to now change batteries for a longer talk time.Other improvements in the Treo 650 include a mirror for taking self portrait picture stills, a larger speaker, a slightly more recessed Secure Digital SD card slot so nothing protrudes anymore, and even a Push To Talk functionality. Overall, the Treo 650 looks like a very impressive upgrade from the Treo 600 with almost everything you could have asked for but Wi-Fi.
